Wild Things Run Fast er ein tribute til den fantastiske kunstnaren Joni Mitchell. Bandet består av musikarar frå jazzlinene i Trondheim og Oslo.
Joni Mitchell er ein canadisk sangar, musikar, komponist, tekstforfattar og biletkunstnar. Ho blir sett på som eit av dei største talenta i vår tid, og med ei kunstnerisk karriere på over 40 år, har ho inspirert folk over heile kloden. Musikken hennar blandar folk, pop og jazz på ein særeigen måte, med djupt personlege tekstar. Bandnamnet har dette A-laget av unge jazzmusikarar henta frå Joni si 11. studioplate kor ho mellom anna hadde med seg namn som Wayne Shorter, Steve Lukather, Vinnie Colaiuta, Larry Carlton og James Taylor.

Wild Things Run Fast is a tribute-band to the fantastic artist Joni Mitchell. The band consists of musicians from the jazz-conservatoriums in Oslo and Trondheim.
Joni Mitchell is a Canadian singer, musician, composer, author and painter. She is regarded as one of the biggest talents of our time, and with a musical career that has lasted more than 40 years, she has inspired people all over the world. Her music mixes folk, pop and jazz in a unique way, with deeply personal lyrics.
The six talented musicians in WILD THINGS RUN FAST has borrowed their name from Joni’s 11th studio album, that among others included names as Wayne Shorter, Steve Lukather, Vinnie Colauita, Larry Carlton and James Taylor.
